Creating Fun

What do you do to create fun in your relationship?  

Understanding that life presents challenges every day helps us take them on. It's easy to take the next step and make those challenges fun, and it can strengthen a relationship.  Recently we had the chance to prove this first hand.  A condo we've had as a rental was used rather harshly by our tenant.  Being empty-nesters, we've decided to sell our four bedroom home,  and move back to the condo. Fixing it up will require patience, persistence, hard work and money.  However, we've also decided to make it fun. How? The first night, we camped-out after removing carpet, and cleaning.  We invited friends over for a picnic and a bottle of wine. Then we swapped ideas about color schemes, painting, flooring bathrooms etc. You know you have true friends when they help rip out old, cigarette-stinking carpet, sit on lawn chairs eating mac and cheese and volunteer to help move and paint. How cool is that?
